I don't think that it is unreasonable to ask this. It might be better to ask questions like: - Where is the learning curve the steepest for new developers? - What parts of integration are most painful? - What barriers are contributors facing? I think that if we can come to some concensus about what the hurdles are, it's more likely that we'll be able to address them in some way that actually helps new developers. I think everyone subscribed to this list wants to see new OpenSolaris developers successfully integrate projects.
