This is just plain complete ignorance. For your information, Pål, the manufacturers care a hell of a lot more about grandmothers than they care about YOU. This is actually and literally true. A high official at Kodak admitted to me several years ago that in the company's marketing plans, they had overlooked, for a period of approximately five years, the category they call "AdAms"--advanced amateurs. The reason? Because it's such a tiny category, and relatively difficult to influence with advertising. This source _specifically_ named grandmothers and 13-year-old girls as two of the target markets they had concentrated on going after in the meantime. At the time, Kodak was placing NO advertising with _Photo Techniques_, but was placing multiple pages every month in not one but THREE different publications catering to pubescent and pre-pubescent girls. --Mike
