Sometimes I get the same blue window, but only since the day I had to change
the power supply of my PC. I never had the problem before. Therefore I
think Windows causes the problem, not QPCII V2.
After a keypress, Windows is back but without correct window resolution and
colour depth. After correction of resolution and colour depth, QPCII V2
start without any problem.

I am using QPCII version 2.01 SMSQE version 2a98.

Does this mean that QPCII needs 11MB on your system?
I allocate 20MB to QPCII. Once all my extensions (Prowess, Datadesign
engine,DBAS_sys, Qlib,..) and some toolkits loaded, I still have about 15 MB
at my disposal.

I have Windows 98 SE set 1024*768 ,16 or 32 bit colour (I don't see any
difference); QPC set 800*600 high colour mode.
