Sorry for the delay in replying to this. Someone sent me a very large
file without warning which has blocked some of my emails ...

I spent some time a while back getting ProWes working from DD disks.
This works on my Black Box QL + Gold Card, and it works from the startup
disk on my Pentium PC with QPC.  However, it seems to take an age before
anything begins to happen ... at first I thought the machine had just
locked up.

I haven't got it running directly from the win_drive version of ProWes.
Perhaps I need to get the latest version downloaded.

I agree that the font calculation is the cause of the delay ... is the
configuration straightforward for no precalculated fonts ?
