Sorry, Kent,
what you have posted here on this list recently is complete nonsense! :-(
Just a few of your last week's postings:

One negative thing is that Sebastian has opened up the software, but
not as much as it deserves. It slows development too much. It must be
changed in some or the other way, else dedicated and brave developers
will choose other libraries to support and contribute.
Sebastian is a very driven person and in one sense too much drive for
this project. It means that things stop and nothing or very little
happens when he does not have time to spend for Qooxdoo for any
reason. It is detrimental for the project, because a lot of people
spend a lot of time to get things working with Qooxdoo.
Sebastian! I think you should take it all as constructive critics and
not destructive, else I would not be her. Please, do not go into
defense mode! :-)
Please, read the other threads! If you put them together, you will
understand the picture, even though it hurts in some sense, it should
be felt as a relief.
This is really rude! There are a couple of people who really have
contributed here, but you do not even realise it! THis is the
problem. I do not need to comment more, cause it is
self-explanatory.:-)
Kent, we find it extremely annoying and embarrassing how you keep
constantly complaining here or even being offensive on a personal level.
By "we" I speak of a group of developers that either created qooxdoo,
substantially contributed to it or keep being actively involved in its
development. Since it is mostly Sebastian that is visible to the outside
(mailingslist, commits), that fact may not be so obvious.
Everyone is invited to be an active or passive part of the qooxdoo
community. It is a matter of course that interaction may be challenging
on a technical level. Nonetheless, it must not be driven by personal
dislikes. We do not accept ourselves or other community members being
insulted repeatedly - subtly or blatantly.
qooxdoo has intentionally been made available as an open-source project
to share it with the community and let interested members get involved.
Without a doubt, it is and will always be sort of incomplete, but
hopefully appealing enough for people to make it better by time. To
support this process, any feedback or critisism that is based on facts
and that leads to a constructive atmosphere of discussion is highly
appreciated.
If you, Kent, have any such valuable input, it will - as it has always
been - be very welcome. As you apparently call yourself a "dedicated and
brave developer" that does not feel the project to be enough "opened
up", you might be interested in fixing and cleaning-up your contribution
that is distributed with the project under source/contribution/*_olsson?
Unfortunately, most of your contributions either do not work, some could
have never worked, refer to non-existing parts or seem to be highly
redundant. It is quite disappointing, since this has apparently been the
case for weeks now. I suppose, all qooxdoo users would rather prefer to
see your energy and devotion go into making your very own contributions
first-class quality.
Many fine people on this list actually use qooxdoo either in private,
non-commercial or commercial projects. They simply have fun playing
around with it or actively contribute to it in many different ways.
Sure, sometimes communication may get tedious, but in general it is a
pleasure to work with any community member. None of them constantly
talks politics, complains without comprehensible facts, makes dubious
statements that can not be proven, posts false answers to questions that
have already been answered, leaves the impression of being an
authoritative source of information and worst of all gets offensive on a
personal level.
If you are seriously interested in supporting qooxdoo in a positive way,
you will certainly have to rethink your way of participation,
Andreas
