Hello All,
Concerning line of controllers
Didn't we just a few months ago add some code to generate series of controllers
to emulate oscillation.
In Matrix View
Edit->Insert Pitch Bend Sequence
I imagine there is a vast bulk of the work complete to hacking in a line of
controllers function.
Concerning Chris F. work and this comment:
> Yeah. If. If not, it wouldn't be the first time somebody
> had big ideas, and not enough time to implement them.
He's done excellent work and he did something nobody wanted to touch. When
wemoved RG to QT4 toolkit, the control rulers were completely broken and
worthless.
Not only did Chris F, as a new contributor to RG, take this on single handedly.
He put in place a very strong platform for us to work from. The the control
rulers are far better than what we had before -- code wise and GUI wise.
If he never touched the code again to round out his idea, we should not
complain. The code is in good shape and somebody who cares can continue on
with it.
As witness to this, that is exactly how we got the Insert Pitch Bend Sequence.
That piece of code was contributed while Chris F was still tweaking the GUI
side of things.
...
I do agree drawing a line of controllers would be nice. And being able to
designate the density of the controller sequence is very important.
I just suggest, if you need it. Dig into the code, make it happen in a branch,
and we'll merge when everyone is good with it.
Sincerely,
Julie S.
