I don't think my vote should count for much, since I've barely poked around
in the code over the last year (and none of that came to anything worth
committing), but here's my feeling:
[X] either is fine with me (e.g. I'm happy with both tools, or I'd
clone to the other one anyway)
[X] I don't think we should switch from svn
Regarding the second vote, I don't see a real need to switch. Sure, I use
git locally, but it's a simple matter to set up my svn working copy as my
git master branch. From time to time I pull the updates from svn and commit
them to git, with a simple note like "Bringing in svn revisions x to y." I
don't see it as a pain.
