Right. This does call for some coordination.
You've been using something like it for a couple of years now; meanwhile I
already added controller commands that overlap a lot with it (that's where
the "Controllers" menu comes from). Oops. Making an overlap trifecta,
I'm afraid I innocently partly duplicated earlier stuff that makes a line
of controllers.
The logarithmic scaling you added seems like a nice addition. Would you
be averse if I added it to the patterns in base/parameterpattern/, or to
adding it yourself?
BTW, feel totally free to edit my dialogs. Making a clear dialog has
never been my strong point, and they are just minimally adapted from
earlier ones (Chris Cannam's I think)
