Anything I need to be aware of generally when designing a whole new kind of event filter? Having asked that, I realize it's probably easier to show you the GUI and then work it out from there. I'm going to implement the GUI as an inoperative dummy first and then wire it up to accomplish work. It's going into trunk since it's brand new and won't replace anything old and established until it is stable, which could take months or years. It's turning out to be really huge for something relatively small. -- D.
