Sounds good. I hope you get it working. When you send the screenshots,
please also specify which distribution you use and whether you compiled
LyX yourself or used your distribution's package manager (or PPA).

The main question is Günter's below about the attachment on the trac
ticket. If you just download that attachment and compile without
changing anything, do you get a PDF or an error?

Hi together! I am not quite sure if I get all your emails. I haven't yet
found any solution for producing Armenian texts in Lyx.

The interface of Lyx I run under Linux seems to be somewhat different to
mainstream versions. Some of the common functions are disabled. Later I'll
send a couple of screenshots.

and attached a stub template that works here without error messages.

No, I don't know whether any font announces support for the Armenian script
in a way understood by Polyglossia.

I know, however, that this error turns out to be a spurious warning in many
cases (happens also for cyrillic and greek) and that a font defined as
\armenianfont with \newfamily is not checked - this way the user can
override the check with an explcitely selected font.

And the LyX test for missing characters is more accurate - it only tests the
characters really used in the document.

Facit: define the font you want to use with Armenian as \armenianfont in the
user preamble and see if all required chars are supported.
Of cource, you can also just use "show output anyway".
