I gave up on all those tricky switches and just went to Fry's and bought
a casset player that does it all. You just put in the tape, press the
right buttons an your tape plays and is saved on PC. You use the adocity
program to do the work. It was about $70 but i had at least 300 tapes to
transfer.
I guess you can do this with programs and a recorder but it was easier
for me this way.

yeti blue usb microphone

2013-09-06 Thread André van Deventer
Hi all

Just some impressions about this microphone which I received this morning.

I am so far very impressed. It is very sturdily built and most definitely
the best microphone I have owned by far.

This is most definitely not something you can carry around with you and
something you would most definitely not want to drop onto your toes by
accident.

Unboxing and connecting is very simple and quick.

I’m rather a beginner where microphones and recording is concerned. I’ve
been used to working with dynamic mics mostly so the amount of volume and
clarity this microphone can produce came almost as a shock. The microphone
has a gain control on top which is very handy.

One of the nicest feature of this microphone is that fact that it has its
own headphone amplifier through which you can monitor the sound of the
microphone. This headphone is also a output soundcard which allows you to
monitor the sound coming out of the microphone as well as listeng to all
other sound output from the computer.

The only problem I have when using the microphone on its desk stand is that
it picks up a hum from other electronic equipment on the computer stand.
You should be able to illuminate this by placing it on another stand.

Hope this may be of help to someone. The microphone is not cheap but well
worth the money I think.

Hello List: I'm not a hundred percent sure this is the right list for this
question, but here goes anyway: will be having my new Windows 7 computer
installed tomorrow; I have Tapin Radio on my current system and have
accumulated a good many favorites in there; my question is, once I go to the
new machine, is there any way I can have those favorites re-appear, once I've
installed Tapin Radio on the new machine? I know I can always just go to which
ever station I want to listen to; then put it in the new favorites..I just
thought maybe it'd be quicker if I already had the stations there! I apologize
if this question is not quite in line with the subject matter of this list!
Almost forgot to mention that I currently am using the free version of Tapin!

What is epub2? Does that mean I can read books with the epub extension if

Where do I put these books in order to read them? What folder?

epub 2

2013-09-06 Thread Merv Keck
ok on the PlexTalk Pocket I figured out what epub 2 was. It is a version of
epub that has been around since about 2007. shame on me. Now I just need to
know where to put the epub on the PTP. Saving for a new Victor Reader Stream
unless something way better comes out by tax refund time which I'm not
expecting. LOL!
