Re: CSAtten: Arthur Rambo
Arthur -- we have a misunderstanding here. You applied this to the nail bed AFTER the toenail had already dropped off? You never made that clear. That's an entirely different scenario than a fungal infection with the toenail intact - which is my case. So this may be totally ineffective in my situation because the product cannot reach the toenail bed. Which is the problem with every treatment for toenail fungal infection. Jeez. Well -- I bought the stuff -- I'll continue to use it for awhile. Did you lose the toenail because of a fungal infection? Did you try any treatments while the toenail was still in place? MA From: arthur rambo alqui...@yahoo.com Sent: Wed, March 17, 2010 5:48:11 PM I reported my quick success with dmso and atomidine, 50%/50% to regrow a toenail that just dropped off one day, using these on a bandaid each night, on the toe. It took as long as it takes to grow a nail. (Its still one of the best looking in the bunch) 8^)

RE: CSAtten: Arthur Rambo
http://www.tahomaclinic.com/iodide.shtml Fungus under the toenails (onychomycosis) is a difficult problem to treat. Even conventional anti-fungal drug treatment takes months to work, and (for safety) monthly liver function tests are necessary. SSKI and DMSO rubbed on, around, and under the affected toenails doesn't work any faster, but it's just as effective, and definitely safer. Make sure to wear old socks, because SSKI and other forms of iodine leave an orange-brown stain. (Other safe and effective alternatives include geranium oil, oregano oil, and tea tree oil. These and other anti-fungal oils also require help from DMSO to penetrate the toenail and soak the fungus underneath.) http://www.rawfoodsupport.com/read.php?9,152420 The only thing I have found to stop the fungi in toenails is Iodines Tincture Colorless. I got mine (Preferred Plus Pharmacy) from amazon.com. You can also use the colored Iodine Tincture but then you get yellow toes. Some here at http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/fungus4.html#IODINE_26540 http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006022104123 I had an infection under the fingernail, and had to be treated at the Emergency Room. But it didn't go away completely until my local pharmacist suggested tincture of iodine topically. It worked for my thumb, but of course everyone's body is different. - Steve N From: MaryAnn Helland [mailto:marmar...@bellsouth.net] Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2010 9:09 AM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: Re: CSAtten: Arthur Rambo Really Steve?
