Hi spameden, The smsbox logs at debug level are not showing any errors. I am not using sqlbox at the moment. I will monitor smsbox incase it re-occurs. Hi Alvaro, Thanks for your feedback. do you mean smsbox routing? How can I specify default-route in my configurations. This is not clear from the user guide. get-url or post-url to two destionations (inboxes)
Hi, I am trying to use two URLs destination for my message but it seems i can only have only once active post-url or get-url. I want a received SMS to be duplicated to both destinations. my sms-service is as follows: #- # SERVICES #- group = sms-service keyword-regex = .* catch-all = true max-messages = 3 omit-empty = true catch-all = true get-url = http://localhost/playsms/plugin/gateway/kannel/geturl.php?t=%tq=%qa=%a; post-url = http://localhost/playsms/plugin/gateway/kannel/geturl.php?t=%tq=%qa=%a http://x.x.x.x/-/inbox/inbox.php?receiver=%Psender=%pmessage_content=%atime_received=%tid_tt=%I; How do i achieve this since the above only allows either one of the lines get-url or post-url but not both at the same time. Do I need to define each on its own sms-service despite needed them to process same SMS? Re: get-url or post-url to two destionations (inboxes)
Thanks Willy for your feedback, The main aim is to have an incoming SMS despite before forwared to an external system , it should also be retained my kannel local host db for future checks/ reference / accountability / backup of all incoming SMSes. Remote Connectivity
Hello Kannel Users, Iam in a bit of a fix here. I have installed kannel on ubuntu server and is working just fine. The server is connected to 3 different SMSC operators via smpp. I have setup another remote server which is on the Local Area Network(192.168.1.30) which is connecting to the Ubuntu server via the Playsms Web Interface. Am running some short codes which are defined on the main Ubuntu server with connection to SMSC operators. I want when a message comes to the main ubuntu server with Keyword Mwamba to be routed to the other server I have installed which is on the Local Area Network(192.168.1.30). Now since this server is behind a router, I opened port 80 on the router and directed all traffic coming through this port to go to the 192.168.1.30 machine. Below is an extract from my kannel.conf #Mwamba Service group = sms-service keyword = mwamba get-url = http://router public IP Address/check.php?a=%as=%sp=%pk=%k strip-keyword = false omit-empty = true The check.php script is hosted on the 192.168.1.30 machine. Hello Kannel Users, I have managed to setup kannel and it is working just fine. I can send and receive messages without any hiccups. Kannel Services Configuration
Hello Kannel list members! Just a quick question, I have setup the following service in my kannel configuration. #nshima group = sms-service keyword = nshima get-url = http://www.goodmeals.zm/nshima/nshima.php?mobnum=%pkeyword=%kkeyword_2=%skeyword_3=%r omit-empty = true Is it possible to repeat the parameter get-url as illustrated below? group = sms-service keyword = nshima get-url = http://www.goodmeals.zm/nshima/order.php?mobnum=%pkeyword=%kkeyword_2=%skeyword_3=%r get-url = http://www.goodmeals.zm/nshima/nshima.php?mobnum=%pkeyword=%kkeyword_2=%skeyword_3=%r omit-empty = true My question in essence is how do I make kannel send a single received message to two different processing scripts. Using the example above to both the nshima.php and order.php. Note: Am reluctant to combing the two scripts into one I prefer having them separate. Your usual assistance shall greatly be appreciated. Kind Regards, -- Mwamba Chishimba For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

They are named *kannel.spool.new* changed at *12:45:35PM* and *kannel.spool.bak* changed at *12:45:11PM* I have this in my *kannel.conf* file which I believe is suppose to point to the above file. However I do not have the kannel.spool file indicated on the store-location file shown below. How do I restore or fix this the kannel.spool file and what extension should it have if any? *store-type = file* *store-location = /usr/local/kannel/kannel.spool* My second question is how do I access the store tools by Alex? RESOLVED: Packet too short while unpacking Msg Error
Hello Everyone, I managed to figure out how to go round this one. Am not sure what the repercussion for my actions are but this is what I did. I changed the store-type in kannel.conf to spool and then created a directory which I named spool in var/log/kannel. I then restarted bearerbox, sqlbox and smsbox and all seems well so far. Prior to changing the store-type and creating the spool directory I had renamed the existing kannel.spool files and tested bearerbox which created new files so you may want to explore that option as well. Thank you to all those that took time to help me resolve this problem. How many 'services' have you got? How many 'keywords'? Kannel does not stop to search when it encounters the first denied rule, it keeps searching down until it hits a match. This is what you may be experiencing. Also prefix is normally for the source phone that is allowed to use the service. For example if you wanted to only allow MTN or Zain you can use 'allowed-prefix' and set it to 096 or 097.
