This is surely impossible. It's under the control of the OS, not the program, and any OS which didn't free memory when programs quit would crash very quickly indeed. Maybe whatever tool you are using isn't reporting the free memory accurately (or at least, not reporting a useful statistic).

Using regular expressions with FILEALIAS seems likely to solve your problem. Assuming that your document root begins at /local, something like this might work. FILEALIAS /local/content/index/([\d]*),([\d]*),([\d]*)-* /local/content/index/$3 This assumes that the 0, 3222, and 143 in your

Or you can use the logresolve command that is in the apache bin directory. That will replace all of the ip address in your log files with their respective host names. Ken Schweigert wrote: On Wed, Jun 02, 2004 at 08:18:26AM -0500, Robert Lambrecht wrote: I see a partial IP address 172.xx in

I just took a peek at our log files and the IP address is completely replaced. So take the 127.1.1.1 out and put someone.that.i.know.com in it's place. You could probably write a quick script to go in and replace certain IPs with whatever text you specified. Robert Lambrecht wrote:
