We have Cooper’s Hawks as well - at my house, and at my sister Richanna’s house, and I’ve only ever seen them eat a squirrel once, and it was the young hawks (that just fledged) that killed it. I always wonder why they don’t eat squirrel more often. I wish they would. I have about 10 fat
