don't know if this is the solution you're looking for but you could put
another style in the sheet and then call it in the td which you need to be
different by using td class=name of style

No, my stylesheet is
in the stylesheet and just make my own
class, but that would mean me having to go and add class=whatever to all
my TD's that I want it applied to.

Haven't come across this on AOL so far.it's usually okay once you get
past all of the horrible windows that pop up everywhere! If you post the
link I'll take a look for you,

class properties should not break the selects, but lower-end Netscape
browsers do sometimes have a tendency to pick and choose what it wants to
display from css! Are you including it in the select tag or from a style
sheet? How is it breaking them?

Hi,
We've got to develop a facility whereby users can upload material to a
server via a cfm page, but we need to have some kind of virus checking
software to check all uploads first. Does anyone know of anything already
out there and how much it would cost?
Thanks in advance,
Kath

Hello again,
I'm needing another bit of help. We're looking for an online chat room
programme. We don't really know anymore details than this at the moment, but
I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any such thing that we could buy
off the shelf?
Cheers,

Navigator have a lovely habit of messing up the layout of pages, usually due
to tables and other such things. You're amazingly lucky if you haven't come
across this before. I spend half of my life making sure things look the same
on Netscape and IE,

have an
awful memory, but I wouldn't go for a job when I can't remember the basic
understandings surrounding the job description.
A test on it's own is obviously a stupid thing to do, but used alongside
questions and a proper interview I agree with. I don't see what the problem
is.

Don't think you need the around the values. Try taking them out but leave
a space after each comma and see if that helps,

Also just realised that you don't need font-face. All you need is;
font-family: Georgia, times, serif;

It depends how you want the results to be displayed, but I'd recommend
putting the cfoutput tags inside the table before the tr as otherwise
you'll open a new table for each line of results, which isn't good if you're
pulling rows and rows back from a database.

Also, in Instant HTML - programmer's Reference by Alex Homer et al, it
goes through all html tags and says which ones do and don't work in browsers
from IENS 2 - IENS 4 - very useful book!

I think you might be after a kind of breadcrumb trail, so the user knows
where they've come from and can click back if they need to? If you go to

a cf_breadcrumb tag which might be useful.
