For me, this has been fixed by migrating to squeeze. I was using
Option XvPreferOverlay with a patched version of the lenny driver,
but now I do not need to anymore. I use the standard squeeze binary
packages.

I carefully read the #592444 bug log: it sums up as it works with ppp 2.4.5

fails with earlier versions.
Now that ppp 2.4.5-4 is in testing (one month ago), is this bug still valid ? I
mean, there are no explicit breaks, but if the user has its squeeze uptodate,
it should work,
