Dear Thomas,
I tested the setup you described and got the expected results so I will
require some more information to determine why it isn't working on your
side.

below the copyField lines for dc.creator.

This is really nice. Would it be possibly to count by dc.type too?
This one selects everything for 2010:

If I want to get the number for each type then there should be added

Hi All,
Is there any way of importing Apache logs into solr?
Our dspace server is a few years old but only has 8 months worth of
dspace.logs.
Thanks,
Craig.

Hi Craig,

6.1 Converting older DSpace logs into SOLR usage
Hi Bram,
I have tried but receive 0 records written.
./dspace stats-log-converter -i access_log-20100124 -o
access_log-20100124.dspace
About to convert 'access_log-20100124' to 'access_log-20100124.dspace'
Read 21648 lines and recorded 0 events
I want to import APACHE logs instead
Right,
my apologies! Missed the fact that you wrote apache logs instead of DSpace
logs.
As far as I know, there is no existing code to convert Apache logs into SOLR
DSpace statistics data.
best regards,
Bram

Craig,
I've started work on this, and don't entirely remember where I left off, but
we can start from here.

Hopefully this code is usable. I might even have some more developed code
sitting somewhere on my computer.
