[Dx4win] transfer from Xp to W7

As a short term measure I want to transfer my DX4WIN V7 from my Xp machine to a W7 machine. (I will then do the upgrade to V8 a little later) I think I have seen that I can just copy the whole folder from one machine to the other, is this correct or does it not apply if changing from Xp to

I've gotten used to the fact that DX4WIN isn't going to connect to my newer radio, but when entering contacts it would be nice if it would stay on my band instead of jumping to a packet spots band. Can I get the logging window to ignore the packet spots?de Dick NY1E

Hi Steve, Can you provide more details about the new configuration? It sounds like D4W is seeing the frequency information so however you've got it hooked up at least it's able to read that.. Are you using the USB adapter for CI-V control? Assuming so since you said you turned translate (I
