Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN and FLDIGI with a radio interface by N4PY

2015-09-08 Thread Mike Rhodes
Are flDigi and DX4Win communicating log info or is flDigi just working with CAT. I have DX4Win and flDigi working with my Flex 5000 in that I can click on a spot in DX4Win, the Flex tunes, and the frequency shows up in flDigi but there is no logbook communication (i.e., callsign, mode info,

Re: [Dx4win] DX spotting using CCUser

2015-12-24 Thread Mike Rhodes
I am not a CCUser user so afraid I cannot address that issue. However, you might take note of the fact that US callsign numbers have little if any bearing on where the station is located any more. Since hams are no longer required to change their callsign to the district they live in no

Re: [Dx4win] Header on labels

2015-11-17 Thread Mike Rhodes
Sounds like you are mixing labels and reports together while they are in fact two different things. Reports would be things like your DXCC listing, etc., while labels are your QSL labels. A report header will never show up on your QSL label. Mike / W8DN On 11/16/2015 9:55 PM, Jim Reisert

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but, I don't believe DX4Win installs anything anywhere but its own folder. Therefore, when moving to a different PC or HD, all you need to do is, copy the entire DX4W805 folder to the new location, recreate your desktop shortcuts, and run. Mike / W8DN

Which window are you using the 'upper right X' in? You must use the 'DX4WIN 8.05 UrCallsign' window to close the entire program. If you are doing that and still having problems, the next thing I would do is shut down the computer completely. That is, do the regular shut down and then drop

Enrique, 1) Attachments do not make it thru on this reflector. 2) DX4Win is not set up to accept anything except 3 numbers in the RST fields. If you want to record the actual signal strength, you will need to enter it into the comments section. You 'may' be able to edit the ADI file so the

[Dx4win] VUCC & LOTW

So I just applied for 6 meter VUCC using LOTW credits. These QSO's are marked as confirmed via LOTW (and possibly via QSL also) in my DX4Win log. Is there a way to use the LOTW award to mark these Qs as 'C'onfirmed for VUCC in DX4Win? There are not that many so far (112) but, once I have
