Hi All, Reading the magnetic field and phase noise saga makes me think of earth loops. If moving to another power socket- as in moving to another room cures it. How about using mains isolation transformers so only connection K2-linear really is the coaxial feeder. Or battery power K2. Just a

Worked Vic, K2VCO this morning on 40m CW. His K2/100 was absolutely clean with no clicks and no noise on his CW sidebands while he was running barefoot. When he ran ran QRO to his Alpha 87A, There were still no clicks, however there was noise on his sidebands extending out +/- about 1 kHz from

That dedicated 220 VAC line is likely not all that dedicated, unless you have absolutely separate 220 VAC service coming into your shack. Under typical home circumstances, the 110 VAC is simply on one side of the 220 VAC line. So your 110 shares a buss with the 220 VAC. LIkewise, two
