*OK, Steve When is the last time you tried to send in a unit for service.
I am #5 and have been since January. Saying you support the K3 and actually
doing it are two different thin*gs.
Rob
I am sorry you are without your unit.
Regarding your question. For over 15 years I have been using
a boost. Keep it up.

Tim N9PUZ has an excellent point. Manufacturers of any long-lived electronic
equipment have a neverending battle with component obsolescence. Say an FPGA
goes end-of-life and there is no pin-compatible part. This is a problem that I
have had professional experience with -- and which AFAIK has
Band was in poor shape. Thanks to relay stations and check-ins.

Tony,
For full output, my KPA1500 requires 27 to 30 Watts depending on the band.
I have not observed any overshoot on either my K3s or K4D.

CocoaModem is an excellent program. But it's 32 bit so it won't work after Mac
OS 10.14.6 (Mojave). All Mac OS after that require 64 bit applications. The
developer hasn't supported it for years but the code is free and available for
anyone having the skill to update it to 64 bit.
