Dear Kim,
Your little baby just couldn't do it any more. That's all. Her little
precious
life just expended itself. All the while she did have life in her, she had the
warmth of your loving touch and the softness of your lips against her too, as
surely you kissed her a thousand times or
Dear Sherry,
My heart hurts for you and your family. LOVE the name. Can I use that one
some
day?!! :D God bless you. Mike 3

Hi Mike, thanks for your kind words. General was one of the sanctuary cats at
Sids where I volunteer.I guess we are one BIG extended family. :) When we lose
one of our cats,it feels like one of mine. Feel free to use the name. The Dr.
that runs the sanctuaries names 99% of them all. She comes up
Hi Stacy,
One of my negative cats has EGC on his belly. He gets raised, red
plaques and licks constantly. I had no luck with topical creams, fish
oil, or allergy shots. We had him on prednisolone to control it for
quite a while, because it worked and it was what we could afford.
Unfortunately,
Mike, thank you for your insight! I printed your e-mail and will keep it on
my desk. Although I haven't had a pet loss in over a year, I do have pets and
when that future day comes around when I am, again, in that awful pain I can
look at it and be comforted.
Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about GM. What a cool name he had!
We are fighting for the life of our Oreo right now. Hope we can turn her
back around and give a few more weeks, months, hopefully years.

I am so sorry about GM - I had Diesel a few years ago -
Hi Natalie,
Could this tonic work on a cancerous behavior of Felv or just tumors?

This herbal concoction (Chaparral, Neem, Andrographis,Graviola powders
brewed like tea and frozen down into a more concentrated tincture) is
perfectly good for cats
Hi:
I have been giving him unscented salmon oil daily to see if it helps. I am
trying to get him into a dermatologist at the ER vet clinic. I have to wait
for them to call me back tomorrow. My vet said I should see what they say and
then we have to treat him with the steroids or whatever
Hi Natalie:
Thank you for the suggestion. My vet actually told me about the black salve
(neoplasene from buck mountain I believe) but his cytology report came back
sort of inconclusive and consistent with feline eosinophilic granuloma
complex). So I'm not sure if those remedies/treatments
Hi, Kim - I've been doing this only 19 years, officially - before then it
was on my own, since I was a kid, with my parents, etc.
That sounds like a horrible caseI have never come across anything like
that as the mother cat killing her kittensAnd, yes, the Strongid-T
dosage depends highly
We don't know - but since Graviola has always been such a well-known
anticancer herb, and FeLV could be considered a form of cancer, I suppose, I
don't see why it shouldn't. I am going to try it on my two FeLV
asymptomatic cats starting in the new year. The salve works on external
tumors/skin
The tonic works not only on cancer - it's great for overall health! The
black salve would still be a good thing to try, it won't attack any other
cells! But I'm not sure about the one you mention, there are so many copies
out thereand expensive, too!
For tough skin, try a much thinner
Mike,
I truly do appreciate your email. Your words were very comforting to read
and the prayers are very much needed. You're right, I kissed her all the
time and was constantly talking to her. I truly didn't intend to harm my
kitten. I really was trying to help her. I'd do anything to have
Hello,
I tried sending a post several days ago, but my membership had not gone through
yet so my post was rejected. I was asking for suggestions on how to get my FLV
cat, Chloe, to eat. Very sadly, she passed away early yesterday morning. I
wish I had found this group earlier, but from the
I'm sorry to hear about your cat! You have done all you can. I'm struggling
with trying to get a cat to eat right now myself. I'm force feeding her with
AD now. A couple of syringes at a time.
The Felv virus can only survive a couple of hours, but there are other
bacterias of secondary infections
Just remember too those depo shots can cause diabetes. My can Tabby got
diabetes after getting one depo shot for an asthma attack.

Hi Stacy,I have used Neoplasene and would never use it on a symptomatic FeLV
cat. It is also very hard on the liver as the liver has to process all the
toxins. A very informative group where you can get info is -
That is NOT the black salve that I'm was referring to - harms nothing other
than cancerous cells. Natalie

Im so aorry for your loss. My vet said the virus lasts only a short while
outside the body, a minute or so. Healthy adult cats have good immunity to it
anyhow. I have lost several felv cats, and never do any extraordinary
cleaning or waiting when they pass away. In my opinion don't worry
So sorry about your kitty. I never do anything special. Just clean like they
had a cold. I wouldn't do anything. Her tree will be fine.

The cancer cells that are killed have to be processed through the liver.
Neoplasene (black salve) is highly effective but caution must be used. Stacy,
if you're considering using it please join that forum. Everyone on there uses
it and would be of great help.El
