The real problem is feeders who do not TNR. That's how these feral/hard
stray colonies get out of control
Is she showing any symptoms? It has ben a while since I had a FELV kitty.
For now feed her the best you can. Treat any infections she may get as her
immune system may not fight

I have to go to work now. He is doing better now went back to vet think
end.. butall the sudden he had better movement so got fluids , AD and app
stimulant. I will up date tmrrow I work 3-12am.

Thanks for encouraging news. We did go back today. At first I though he was
not inproving but the vet saw marked improvement slight dehydration so we
got fluids. HE came home ate a little on his own

Ticks are the worst near wooded areas and in the woods. They are in tall
weeds, and shrubs. We have lots of deer and deer ticks, the smaller ticks
carry lyme disease. It even the nymph stage can tramsmit lyme. The deer
population has exploded here and so have the ticks. Last year the cats

I used Immunoregulin on two of my FELV cats. One was very symptomatic with
fevers and anemia. The other was aymptomatic. It got Junior over the hump
and he lived another two and a half years. I wish I had used it the whole
time, butI am not sure the end result would have been different.

Right now there are five cats on my bed and it can be up to 7 maybe even 8.
That is not to say they don't hiss at each other. Once settled they look
like angel kitties.Mine arrived at different times as well. The hardest
one to adjust is Daisy. She lost her BEST BUD during the feline leukemia
Daisy started marking when she came in heat. She had an appt for spaying. It
was at a low cost clinic so I could not get an earlier date. That was the
first of many times she peed on my headboard. Nothing like waking up to
that., Oh and yes she has very strong scented pee. It has actually gotten
protocols. We also used Transfer factor Plus
human version

I too am more concerned about the panting as is a sign of anemia which these
cats are prone to getting and can kill them. If your cat does have anemia
make sure she is is checked for haemobart which is treatable. It will not

I am certainly not diagnosing your cat. In humans a smooth tongue is a
symptom of anemia. Anemia is common in FELV cats. Are her gums pale? I had
severe anemia and my tongue was very sore as well. Could be why she is not
grooming it hurts.

I am here too. Things are quiet at my house. Now that I do not have any FELV
cats left. I am coming up on Junior's anniversery next month. Has the CLS
been updated? The last time I checked it was the end of December since it
was updated. I do realize it takes a person to do this, maybe Belinda.

You are right about the Felv being worse than FIV. I think precaustions
would be about the same. There is another group and FIV group that has files
on double positives. You may want to join that group as well. There are
