Well, you're probably gonna have to spam us some more info. On the working knoppix boot, spam lspci showing what driver is loaded. then spam it on ubuntu to verify if it's loaded there as well. dmesg for the relevant parts on both would also help. I'd make sure ubuntu has linux-firmware

Howdy, I finally got through with my backup restore.  I had shutdown the NAS box with Ubuntu on it since I was done with it.  I wanted to do some updates and check some other stuff, still learning how Ubuntu works, so I rebooted it.  I didn't hook up the drives with my backups on them since I
