Hi,
I assume now that items that you buy in the store we will get a fix for the
trades too? Since I got many reports on our trade server that people trade
items now that are bought on the store (you can trade them now, but you
cannot use them in crafting) and this does not show up during the

I have seen this reported at least 5 times now on the mailing list.
Three or four updates have passed since then and this still has yet to
be fixed.
I also mentioned this after the update on the 17th since it appears
valve attempted to fix it then.

Hi,
I'd just like to know if a patch will be released before the weekend. I'm
selfish in asking as we are hosting our first LAN party of the academic year
this weekend and we're supposed to be playing TF2 6v6 as the main
tournament. We even bought actual Fez's for the winners.
Any insight would

I can't say it's gotten that bad at all. For the most part the
questions here get answered with respect. Usually the worst case
scenario is someone being told (in short terms) to go bug someone else
about their problem (like SourceMod forums), but even then the
question will be attempted to be
I'd just be warned that clients (from what I've seen) are still crashing an
impressive amount. Some people are crashing within minutes of playing. Since
the last update the servers have been stable (enough) however!

I know I crashed twice yesterday, once less than 10 minutes into a game.
The second time I crashed, a number of people on the same server crashed at

I've had mostly stable servers but almost every client crashes at same
time and drops off with no Steam logon message. This happens once in
every 15 mins or even sooner. Sometimes only the other team drops off,
sometimes both. 1-4 people are left on, which do not crash. An update

Cool - played this evening for 2 hours and no client crash for me. Don't
want to jump the gun or tempt fate but that's a major improvement compared

Yeah... I know there has been issues brought up about how the servers seem

I noticed that my servers on 3 different machines all sat there until

The first thing that happened to me was a crash after joining a team.
I've had at least one report already of a player who crashed 6-7 times

I had that crash as well as soon as I first joined after the update. I
verified my files and started again. Worked fine.

I was able to play by joining again without doing anything about it.
Actually, it seems to help if I let things load and join the team very
slowly, and then slowly pick a class and avoid hitting the scoreboard
right away but I can't prove that clicking things fast is the culprit
either.
I'm still crashing after this update, a random amount of time after
joining a server. I want to say it was about 20 minutes after joining.

cl_gameserver_list in your client will give you a listing of registered
