I had to download the newest version. No matter what I tried I could not get it to work. Probably tomorrow reluctantly I will call Microsoft. The problem has been getting worse or as I like to say worser! If I go down a list of my documents or a list of files in a folder or drive I quite often

Try finding the executable for the app and then open properties by pressing alt + enter. Then check the box that says run as administrator. You may have to play with compatibility mode also. It is found in the same place. To find the executable: alt+ enter on the shortcut and click open file

it is not a desktop program. it merges with your windows registry. but this zip file doesn't have any instructions. i know how to merge it to the registry. but with hacks like this you usually also need a registry merge to undo what this file does after you are through doing what ever you need
