How you uninstall apps is different between Control Panel and Settings app.
In Settings app, you need to press ENTER, then press TAB to go to Uninstall
button. I'll address this topic on the Win10 list later (upon request).

Hi,
Three reasons:
1. Reducing fragmentation: because people chose to install updates they
wanted, it became a bit hard for Microsoft to track down issues and come up
with workarounds as quickly as possible, hence cumulative update model was
implemented in an attempt to reduce this.
2. Ease of
Hi,
A much better (and perhaps a stable) way: press Windows+R, type "msinfo32"
(without quotes), then press ENTER. Navigate through the list that appears
which will tell you everything you need to know about your computer and your
OS.

Hi,
Ah, talking about using newer style apps? JAWS cursor will not work there
anymore due to some internal changes made, thus touch cursor is the way to go
at this point forward.

Hi,
You have an older Version 1607 cumulative update installed. The latest out
there is 14393.1066, released yesterday unless your computer is on the queue to
be upgraded to Creators Update.

Hi,
Several members of another list report that this is specific to Creators
Update. Have you tried with a different voice profile/synthesizer
combination?

Hi,
Unfortunately, turning off audio ducking does not resolve this, and numerous

Hi,
Not really. A document window does exist, but you need to wait until later
this year to navigate, as this is an Edge-based control.

Hi,
There is a potential showstopper I'm keeping an eye on: in latest Fall
Creators Update preview build, Microsoft Edge appears to not fire an event
desperately needed by screen readers such as JAWS to announce notifications.
This appears to be a regression in recent builds, and I asked Edge
Hi,
Yes, provided that screen readers add support for it. Edge can also be used
to read PDF's.

For the most part, yes. I'd expect some changes may be needed once 18B (JAWS

Hi,
There was a whole thread devoted to this on another list, with the consensus
being that it isn't ready for JAWS users but is coming along nicely. A few
days ago someone posted a tutorial on Microsoft Edge with another screen
reader.

Hi,
In the old days, the notable difference was how many processor cores you can
use on I7 versus I5, as I7 includes models with four processor cores.
Starting from 6th generation Core (Skylake), quad-core I5 models were
introduced, the biggest difference from I7 being lack of Hyper-Threading on
