I know that the pictures folders that I use are a complete mess.
It would be good if I could open something like Windows Explorer within

the chart. But it still would not help lose a stepchild from their
stepparents line but not their natural parents line.

I have not done this particularly search but it is sometimes possible to do
something like that using a series of tags - tag everyone not born in the
USA and tag everyone dying in the USA then you might be able select those

I usually export my LEGACY file to a new temporary file, perhaps doing some
filtering as I export.
Then go through a series of tagging groups of people by ancestors of one
person usually or by date. Then delete those tagged.

It would be useful if there were some options on blocking exporting
information on Living people so that deceased spouses and deceased children
of anyone still living would not be exported or published. Some might wish
their deceased parents information also not to be published.

As described below, ancestors and other relatives of a Private individual
are still exported. I usually go through a few stages of exporting to new
temporary files and deleting ancestors etc until I just have left the people
who I want to put online.
