You are quite right in that he would have to install Legacy to view the
files. The best way is to send him your backup file (usually in
C:\Legacy\Data) which he can import using FileRestore Family file.
The interesting question is the multimedia files. I don't know for sure,
perhaps
Multimedia files cannot be imported by Restore Family File. See Help-file.
The backuo of the MM files is an Zipfile. You must unpack that file into the
directory you want.

If you use Winzip there is an option to copy all file path information
and to recreate the same
Thanks for that, I just saw it there and thought it could. However, after
unpacking to the directory one wishes my points are vaild. I also think that
if a New User is created in the name of the originator and the files
unpacked to there it would work without having to search for the files,

That is what I feared. It is too bad. Whenever I send a report to a new
cousin, I like to attach to the names how that cousin is related. I could do
this with (the now defunct) Generations program.
