Hi
Is it possible to print a list of the assigned sources just for one
individual at a time? I would like to print the assigned sources window that
pops up when you hit the sources icon that is under each individuals
information box. Thankyou

I don't think you can print that window. You could make an individual
report and include the sources in that report. Save this report as a
text file and cut and paste (or delete the parts you don't want) the
sources from that individual report and print.

Hi Dianne, if you select the person you want, then go to reportsreport memu

want to include in the individual report, click preview. Advance to the
pages that list the sources and print each page that you want. You can
You probably will want to click on the option to start sources on a new page.

http://books.google.com/ you can enter a name of a book, or a surname that
might be in a book. Some hits will show you there is a snippet view - this
is a few pages or just the page on which your search criteria appears. Others
show full view where you can look at all pages in the book.
that would give a wide range of books etc. whereas Pat specifically asked
for digitised resources. A better way would be to google eg. Genealogy

Hello:

I have resisted buying the companion charting addons for Legacy, partly
because my tree is too large for me to print off properly, and partly
because I got confused as to which one to buy.
Can anyone suggest which one works best with Legacy - it's my only
disappointment with the Deluxe Legacy

I'm finding it quite useful using in conjunction with Legacy charts. It's a bit
limited but quite useful. Easy to use with an ged import from Legacy.

Hi Richard,
In a way, what you describe is typically called a witness feature -
where you can link people to one another in ways that aren't
specifically genealogical (i.e. through blood descent, marriage, or
adoption). Legacy currently does not support that feature. There is,

It might prove easier to research bill of sale for slaves. I have yet to see
a record somewhere where a slave owner lists the slaves he has, other than
the fact how many slaves he might have.
The following resources might be a good starting point for you.
That's the direction I was heading in, but its great to have someone
validate the method. Thanks for the info, Susan.
