Tag the list on an empty
In the Name List use the Search button to access show that tag
Use the Print button to print whatever details you require.
Once you can tag, you can print any list

I have come across an In Memoriam entry in an old
newspaper that covers the death of three (3) family
members; I note and appreciate the advice of how to
enter an obituary but would appreciate the advice and
guidance from the group on how to record this In

Actually, FTM does the work for you, even to the point of listing the film

that on the copy I save.
Legacy makes family reports that I like better, and the charts are more

Bill,
In the main Pedigree Chart report screen, click the 'Color Text and Boxes'
button to open the Custom Color screen. Then select 'None' and click

Hello,
I sent a GEDCOM that I had created from Legacy to a cousin. This cousin uses
FTM (not sure what version) and he tried to import what I had sent. He said
it went fine until it was 98% complete and then it failed. Is there
something I can do on my end from Legacy to help make his import
Nancy,
Without knowing which type of Gedcom you sent it is difficult to know
whether the problem is at your end or your cousin's. I have sent GEDCOM 5.5
to several users of different programs, including FTM without problems. The
5.5 option is obtained by using the drop-down list in the box
What do you do about sourcing info-- let's say you have a source for the
location but not for the date. How do you indicate it's YOUR guesstimate
and that the source is silent on the matter (since Legacy groups date
location together as far as sources go for births, deaths, etc)?

I did use the 5.5 option from the drop down list as that is the only way I
know how to create a GEDCOM. He is going to try again tonight so we'll see
what happens.

I think it was on the laminated 4-page source citations by Mills that she
also put the name she had searched for in the documentation. I'm not sure
why that is necessary if you're including details as to page number, family

And
Pat,
Good point and I should have included that as well. Here is a real example...

Thanks Sharon,
I believe what you are doing is calculating ages and dates and I do

This sounds like an error in your file. I cannot check it as I already have
