You See Is What You Get) fields. When you use the CTRL-key to format
those fields, including the place, you should see a string of funny
characters before and after the text. Those strings of characters are

Your problem may be where you are trying to do the edit.
You need to edit existing locations in the Master Location list unless
you want the location with and without the formatting.

You probably only think you want this. I assure you, those
double-spaces can more than double the size of your output.
I spent
Use reset to set the report to defaults. There should not be a line
between events but Legacy is now incorrectly adding those if you run a
lined report first. The error is recorded in our problem reporting system.
To change report spacing select the page layout tab then click the
custom report
