I just happened to be on the phone with Suse when this came
that would mean to them on a per-instance basis. If they could even
figure out how many instances they'd be able to get on one box.

This interesting little tidbit
Matt,
Normally they prefer that things like that go to [EMAIL PROTECTED], and
that is where I normally cc: stuff, as I did in this case. I did receive a
request for more information off-list as a result of that, so hopefully it
will get fixed appropriately.

You might want to re-build Samba specifying -DDEBUG to turn on debugging, at
least in the TDB code. It looks like they've got a number of messages that
might get generated and tell you something more than you have right now.

To my knowledge, hwclock has never been updated to understand mainframe
clocks. In your position, I would probably just change the timezone to be
GMT, and then counsel your client as to all the very good reasons why their
system clock should be set to GMT, and not local time.

We thought that was the problem. We checked. Our consultant tells us
I saw the ifdefs for that in the tdb/spinlock.c file. You may have to
specify CFLAGS=-DDEBUG on your ./configure command.
