Hi,
The subject pretty much sums it up. As
suggested in previous thread I've upgraded
to lyx 2.2.
The new version would not produce a result
when exporting to PDF because of unknown
characters. I've tracked this to Croatian
diacritics from the references bib file.
I've manually replaced

With the mouse next to the figure, check whether the environment drop down

We have had reasonable success with Lyx exports to ODF by using
html as an intermediate step, then copy pasting the html into
open document. Although we have not tested bib styles, and
have had some problems with table frames. Numbering and
heading styles are preserved.
Gordon.
I am using LyX 2.1.4 and want to insert a picture (college logo) before the
title of a document. "Insert Figure" before the title puts the image on other
page. Does anyone have any tips on how to do what I want?
Do I have to put something in TEX code to insert it ?
Thanks!
Rich,

Again, the environment is LyX-2.2.0 on Slackware-14.1
The current presentation has several slides with two minipages: the left
one with text and the right one with a figure (see attached). I spend a lot
of time trying to get both centered on the slide without success. There must

Hi
In attempting to follow the biblatex instructions on the wiki, I
have run into two problems. I would very much appreciate a helping hand.
1. Using the style authoryear produces the required "References"
section heading on the left.
