I also mourn the loss of Lake Sandy. Somebody should
begin an archeological study of the area to unearth the
boat houses and pavilions of those 72-hour a week laborers

Why are the schedules in [Minneapolis, have to relevant here] bus stops
generally placed over the seats so that I have to stick my face in somebody
else's face in order to find out when my bus is due?

Sorry to disappoint, I drive a pickup with no commercial markings used for
personal use. And it is the first parking ticket I have had in maybe 20
years. I was wrong. I can handle the $20.
But why were they out ticketing and plowing on Monday when the snow is about
to melt? Shouldn't they be

And please remind me again why millions are being spent to lay track about
150 feet to the west of the existing tracks which extend south to about
46th street. Was there an attempt to lease the use of those tracks from the
railroad?
