I am not sure that I explained my goal that well. It is about using
context for a column-based monthly journal.
Trying to achieve similar layout with context as I achieved with
InDesign before, I ran into problems I cannot resolve.
The U-Shape overlaps columns in a way I cannot
of column/page and beginning of next. Tried \keeplinestogether{N}
instead but it does not work in all cases.
That question was mainly to see if there were any possibility to avoid some
blank lines at end of some columns (ie not balanced in given page).

column seperately beside other columns. I did not found a way.
The setup for columnsets should look like a rotated U-shape

used and not fc-list output, then I read the opposite, and I read that
the --info option of mtxrun should provide the same family name as
listed with most GUI software, yet I tried and it doesn't…

in a 12mm column. The MWE below does all this, but for the appendices the
number overflows the 12mm width, which is ugly of course. So I need to specify
either a width with some stretch so the list layout will adapt, or somehow be
able to specify a different width for the appendix entries

I get one long column and the seocnd column is

seems to give three columns.
