Hi, I have observed that the widths of captions and also notes on even pages is not as I would expect them to be. Reading through the documentation I figured out that the width for captions has to be set manually when they are placed in the outer margin. I did so by setting it to

Hi Mikael, Figured out that the grid=yes option in the setuplayout command caused the issue. When I set it to no/off, the problem is gone! However, I need it because of the columnset, when I switch the grid option off than the pdf-output is totally messed up, sorry! Gerard
