Wouldn't the simplest way to determine this be in finding a build sheet, and wouldn't the 425 have to be a numbers matching engine? Seems this would be the easiest way to prove it. Just a thought... Tim

As I unclearly recall, Last year when this thread went around one bit of evidence of an A body having a 455 motor in 68 69 was the location of a drain plug. If it was between the motor mount holes it was A body and if on a boss towards the end of the block it was a big car? Or do I have this

I understand what you are saying Ron. Dealer installed options are pretty cool when documented and ad a certain value to the car also. I just bought my new 2006 Mustang GT Convertible with Dealer Installed 20 inch rims and Convertible Light Bar. I have the paperwork and will save it.
