FWIW, it's probably not your computer. Micro$oft nuked Windows Movie Maker about the time Windoze 7 replaced XP. Although, if you dug hard enough, you could find a version that would run on Windoze 7, it never worked that well, and it's got progressively worse under later iterations of Windoze.

Cream of the crop: K-1 with DA-L 55-300

Pardon the pun... Last weekend I also tried out the K-1 with an APS-C crop lens, the bargain basement DA-L 55-300 f/4-5.8. In crop mode you get ~15 megapixel images. So how did it work? Here's a shot at 300mm, 1/1000 @ f/6.7 (which is only stopped down about half a stop from wide open at that

Malcolm you did well to buy the 31 mm Prime - the best lens for Street Photography. The Pentax 150-450 Zoom would have looked like a BAZOOKA on the K-1, scaring a lot of people on the Streets. As it is a DSLR is a slight disadvantage for Street Photographers because of its size. Happy shooting

K-1 quirks
