Is the engine port injected? If so, you might want to make sure the cylinder that lost the electrode isn’t running lean. Re: PESO in a way...
Well, I don't know about anyone else, but if you click on the "wrong", image in "People who looked at this listing...". something interesting happens. So when I clicked the link it offered up only three of the "People who..." images, two were more or less abstracts, and one was a photo realistic image of Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, in her original red white and blue regalia, flying in front of the Statue of Liberty. Using the back button to your listing now brings up a bunch of sort of soft core porn... The funny thing is that Wonder Woman was completely comics code complaint, at least as far as her uniform was concerned. Less revealing than a Beach Blanket Bingo movie staring Annette Funicello, and you can't get a lot more wholesome than that. On 6/13/2017 8:36 PM, ann sanfedele wrote: Ok.. RE: PESO - Heading Your Way
I recall that a couple of years ago someone here said (tongue in cheek) that generally one should keep our ducks to ourselves. And mostly I agree. But sometimes even a duck makes a good photo. This is such a case. Unusual angle: the markings on the duck's bill seem to mimic the wake behind the duck. Cool! All in all a wonderful duck pic! Once upon a time, I took lots of duck pics, to the point that it became a family joke. They all stank. This one is =very= nice: the pattern of the wake, the determined look on the duck's face, the rendering all work. RE: PESO - on the way to work
Nice Doug... Man did I miss an opportunity yesterday driving from Olympia to Seattle at 7:00 AM. Sun just rising, not up yet, fog in the fields, huge evergreens silhouetted against pastel pink and blue skies. I just did not have the time to stop and be late... blast blast blast. Tom C. Beautiful. You live in a very nice neighborhood! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing the light wasn't really quite that warm. Did you warm it up in RAW conversion or with a PS photo filter? In any case, the effect is very nice and quite appropriate for this shot. Re: PESO - on the way to work
Thanks for looking, Paul. Actually, the light was that warm; It's been that way early on for a few days, and made me remember to grab my camera off my desk to get a shot or two. All I did was convert from RAW to TIFF, run a high pass filter to sharpen it up a tad, resize and save. Cotty, yeah, it's pretty rough living in all this. Eleanor, it's all around. Sometimes it's tough shooting close to home, because it's just so much background on most days, but at times it can jump up and ask to be noticed. Thanks, Frank. I appreciate it. Thanks, Frank! That branch bothered me a bit, too, but the photo lost something when I cropped it out, or reduced the contrast enough to preserve its detail. Re: PESO: On My Way to Work: Dogwood Blossoms
Thanks very much, Bruce. The 33L is a nice little camera, but the lack of direct control frustrates me. In this pic, for example, I would like to have had a bit less DOF--enough to hold the blossoms on the left, yet blur the background more. But, my PZ-1p is too much to carry around every day. Someday I'll get a DSLR... Rick --- Bruce Dayton [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I gotta say that I'm impressede with what you're getting out of that little PS. I haven't read other comments yet, but my only complaint is that on my uncalibrated monitor, it seems a bit on the darkish side. The blossoms themselves are fine (but would look better, brighter, I think), and I really like your take on them. Sort of from an angle, rather than from straight above - nice effect!!
