Yes indeed. I had to remove all last.fm subscriptions
SqueezeScrobbler works fine on my Duet/Controller, including love/ban...
And you are non-USA/UK/DE like me ?
No.
If you already did enable audioscrobbler and applied your last.fm account in

I'm not convinced that LastFM have in some way 'blacklisted' your
login.
If this is the case, behaviour on the SB3 should be exactly the same -
it's the
No problem...
It does seem like there's a bug in SqueezeScrobbler which caused some of these
problems - I'm just not sure what it is!

Good thought I guess. What I did:

Okay it seems things keep working. My advice to non-USA/UK/DE
last.fm/duet users:
- Keep the inbuilt plugins audioscrobbler and last.fm disabled in
squeezecenter/settings/plugins. They don't work for you and will
prevent squeezescrobbler to work like you want it.

Siduhe thanks for all the support again. But no more configuring

Hello,
I live in the Netherlands and love last.fm.
I had a real difficult time to get myself learning the SBD to:
1. how I have/want my network configured
2. get last.fm working.
I only managed to get last.fm working via the webui while using
squeezescrobbler. This 'wonderfull' SBC is only
Both the SB3 and the Duet are slim devices. They both pull all of the
info they need to operate from Squeezecenter. If you are running both
the Duet and the SB3 from one instance of Squeezecenter, there should
be no difference in their ability to access Last.fm.
Im a bit confused about whether

I can't remember if the cache for the Squeezescrobbler plugin is per
player, but if you have a bad submit to Last.fm it can sometimes
cause the plugin to stop submitting - I haven't experienced this for a
while, but it may be worth double checking. What OS are you running
on? Try stopping SC,
Thanks again for replying.
If you switch on logging for the Last.fm Squeezescrobbler plugin, what
error messages do you see when you try to change stations with the
Duet?
Not sure how to get the logs. What i did:
- I made sure squeezeboxJive on the SBC was toggled 'Debug'
- opened
My understanding is that the Squeezescrobbler cache should be in a temp
folder on a Linux build, not under the Squeezescrobbler or the plugins
folder, so it may not even be under Squeezecenter. On Windows it
appears in documents and settings for example.

Are you using the official plugin for scrobbling and just using the
Squeezescrobbler plugin for last.fm playback? If you go to player
settings/last.fm audioscrobber for the Duet, are the settings exactly
the same as the SB3?
The CLI call looks fine to me, but I would perhaps email James Craig

Yes, stupid isn't it.
I assume Logitech have been requested by LastFM to restrict the regions as this
as you can see it's possible.
As far as I know LastFM's own software doesn't even have this restriction, does
it?

Hi James,
What I don't understand is why your squeezescrobbler does work in
non-USA/UK/DE whereas the integrated last.fm support doesn't. Somewhere
the developer stated that the API from last.fm prevented this. Is
squeezescrobbler build on the same API ? And if so, maybe you can pass

In this thread it is mentioned that with the new plugin you can only
stream lastfm if your player is in the US,
The integrated LastFM support is the option in the 'Music Services' menu.
If you want to use SqueezeScrobbler (in the 'Internet Radio' menu) on 7.1 you
need to upgrade to the latest version of SqueezeScrobbler as there was a change
in 7.1 which broke the plugin.
However, there's no reason to

Hello everyone. I am running SC 7.1 21941 on Win Server 2008 and I am
getting a Last FM connection error when trying to start Last FM.
server log looks like this:
Plugins::SqueezeScrobbler::LastFM::handleWebIndex (218) web page
refresh: 60
[08-07-25 18:04:10.7386]
Very strange - It no longer works for me either.
The session request to LastFM is getting a 'bad request' response from
the LastFM server.
But if I paste the same address into FireFox it works fine!
I really don't know what's caused this.
