Also, as I mentioned I'm doing this from work a lot of times, so maybe I

At least on my Duet, unless SoftSqueeze is running somewhere on my
network, SuperDateTime will not work. I have no idea if this is
normal, but it's what I've figured out with the help of another
thread.
Initially I opened SC and SS. Then in SC I went to settings/player and
chose SS. The
When you say that you are doing this from work, does it mean that there
is a slow network(internet) between the SqueezeBox(at work) and
SqueezeCenter(at home) ?
That's correct; I am connecting across the Internet from work (xmms
playing stream.mp3) to home (squeezecenter).

The other issue I have noticed is that after playing for a short while
the display will freeze at some point during just about every song.
Normally I have the Title - Artist - Album scrolling and time of the

First I tried gslimp3. The package is broken, but I was able to
disassemble the package and install the components individually.
However, it still doesn't work because it requires madplay, which has a
bug (Symbol `mad_build' has different size in shared object). I tried
compiling madplay, but
You might try squeezeplay which is in development. 7.2 is the branch you
have to check out from, detailed instructions are on the wiki.

I use SoftSqueeze all the time on Ubuntu.
The easiest way to make it work is to follow the directions to install
Sun Java (it doesn't work with the GNU java)

the tracks that have been selected for the mix. I can press play to start
playback of that mix.
However, each track has a right-arrow symbol, but
Does it work if you set:

Is it possible to configure the Custom Browse player UI so that the
original track is kept as the default on right click from the active
playlist:
For example:
Track Title (Tracknumber 10) - Album - Track Title (Tracknumber 10)
Currently, the behavior appears to be:
Track Title
Just a little bug if you have over 100 track in an album it will go 8 9
10 100 11 will show up before 110, 12 before 120 etc. Not a big deal
but you might want to see how it's handling track numbers.

*-If the rule you followed brought you to this, what good is the rule.-*
It makes sense.
However, I won't have time to look at it in the near future, so I would
suggest that you register it as an issue on
http://erlandplugins.googlecode.com so it doesn't get forgotten.
It isn't possible today unless you select to set Override standard
track details to No in
