Don,
Here at Repeater-Builder we have the same problem. Our solution was to
re-produce the band-pass filter board and make an adaptor/carrier board for our
AP-50 to allow it to plug into the PLL exciter just like the OEM processor.
If you are interested in a few of either of these, let me know

OK, thanks. I tried heat but next time I will try a bit more. I've

Having a very high-level flamethrower repeater around is not only
a great communications resource... if the hardware operates well
it's also impressive on your technical resume and a lot of fun to
operate.
So in other words, it's just an ego trip. These repeaters are commonly

Hello Group!
Ive been working with a T-835-20 and attempting to re freq it down in
the 143 band.
Im unable to get V-Lock in that area. Does anyone have any experience
in retuning this model.
I did solder the jumpers in that the manual spoke of to lower the band.
But that has not has not helped.
Sure, some sites may be well enough maintained to preclude
this result, but the maintenance at my site has dropped
to just about zero in recent years and cranking up power
would produce a cure that's worse than the disease.
Probably a good thing no one said American Tower by name eh?

that sort of thing might be for some people' as found in pretty
much any buiness or hobby endeavour.

There is an additional factor that can cause deterioration of repeater

increases the intensity

I guess it's a different world out here in the wild wild west. Very few
machines run more than 30 watts. Of course with our 10,000+ foot granite
towers we don't need any more. Some machines have 100+ mile (radius)
coverage.

Is the flange resistor mounted to a hybrid combiner square module

As many of you know the Motorola Micor tuning tool works very well for
tuning MastrII stations etc. I found a company on the internet that
sells a complete set of tuning tools for not much more than
/\/\otorola sells one Micor tuning tool for. They also sell individual
tuning tools for the purpose
It is:
Vertex VXR-7000 50 watt UHF repeater (~$1200 new)
Telewave TPRD-4544 BpBr duplexer (lists at ~$1367 new)
Motorola preamp w/ motorola Bp cavity in front of it.
GE MASTR III Cabinet with N feedthrough and top mounted cooling fan.
Great system! Can program and tune, if needed.
$1700
The Part Number stamped into the casting is 19E500952
Anybody got one?
Thanks,

We have a GE Master III and we are trying to program it for 416 mhz and
it comes back and says that it is out of band it will only allow it to
go as low as 425 mhz. The station is already at 411 mhz.
Any ideas as to why this is happening. Or how we can over come this
issue.
Thanks,
