Hi Shay
Not only specimen displacement, but also line broadening and relative
intensities. They will all depend on the layer thickness.
I don't know how well it would work, especially as WC is quite a heavy
absorber, but in principle, it could.
You could also try fixed incident been geometry
Dear Pr. Francois GOUTENOIRE,
In case of kapton tape there is a chance of getting diffraction peak at low
angle, I prefer to use magic scotch tape.
Some times to avoid the background from this tape as well, I use small punch in
the thick paper card and pack the material in that hole for
Dear Rietveld users,
We are currently using transmission flat sample on our diffractometer.
To prepare the transmission flat sample we are using mylar 15microns or
kapton. We put the sample between 2 mylar foils.
I would like to know if there is some tricks in order to nicely put the
powder
Dear Rietveld users,
Following Pr. Francois Goutenoire's question, I would like to add another
question: I wonder how do you deal with electrostatic powders sample
preparation though in Reflection mode. Do you use Kapton/mylar tape or any
solvent to disperse the powder?
How does it affect the
