The Lionel SD70 should run fine with any DCC unit. If I recall correctly,
Lionel's development team tested with Digitrax, NCE and MRC DCC to iron out the
quirks.

The good new is the reverse unit had the standard 8-pin DCC plug and SHS also

the threads on the pilot casting.
Anyway, I simple drilled an adjacent new hole and used one of the Kadee

Got it backwards, Alan. The BNSF has the headlights in the nose, UP up by the
numberboards.
Protoytpe images for UP and BNSF were supplied with the OGR review and this
dicrepancy was pointed out.

Don't forget, it's advertising and art, not aimed at railfan.
The purpose to to entice shippers that BNSF should be their choice if possible,
and give the general public a warm fuzzy about the railroad.
And if it's got a cool looking train in it, so much the better.
