The big Cummins 6 as installed in Dodge trucks is a great engine, but heavy. They made a smaller 6 - acutally, Onan made it, and Cummins discontinued it soon after they bought it. It's a lot lighter than the big six - it's 3.4 L, turboed but not intercooled - but it could be. I know a guy in
