step to 4.1.24 because - considering
the efforts to make 4.1.24 run with jk1 - the whole affair is much more
complicated than TomCat 3.2.3.

the CPU value increases about over 90%.
Only a kill -9 stops the process!
With tomcat 3.x I did not have such a problem and I could shutdown tomcat
without any problems.

The browser interpretes these extra characters and displays only the

the encoding form
org.apache.coyote.Constants.DEFAULT_CHARACTER_ENCODING should be used.
Which we haved patched that it is UTF-8.
But it doesent work for us as well.
