I agree with your budgetary concerns. To fill this void, many
universities are now merging their art departments with their media

Yes, you wouldn't want to check in them all. Of course their are
outliers, such as organisations with NS4 installed as the default

as i understand it, the browsers do behave as they should for each different
version number.
i believe that what the multiple versions do is load the rendering engine from,
say, IE5, into the framework of IE6.

Hi
all,
I have been using
CSS to style my text for a few months,
There's been a problem with a bit of load lag in IE from my latest
project. In FF08, Safari, and NN7 it comes up without the lag. Is there
something that IE doesn't like about my page, or is it just coughing
over the CSS used? I've done many CSS sites in the past, but haven't run
into this lag
I think you're looking for
.classname {vertical-align: super};

The purist's answer would of course be to use MathML
(and to heck with missing native support in IE) to mark it
up properly from a semantic point of view... ;-)

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this site on a Mac OS 9 using IE as
browser (no version specified):
www.mardahl.dk
It was tested in IE 6.0, Firefox 0.8, and Opera 7, but I don't have any Macs
available for testing. Someone in one of my networks commented on this
problem for her Mac, but

The site works well on the Mac and all links worked. It's nicely done;
informational and functional. If I had a comment to the design, is
would be that some of the pages have a lot of white space from lack of
content. Since there are so many headings, why not propose to

I think you're referring to my Flash business site, www.universalhead.com, rather than the css one www.cinema4duser.com.
This is OT since it's not a css site, but the music doesn't come back on if you nav to another part of the site. Only if you refresh - which is unavoidable since the flash

Hi,
I would consider removing the web standards notice completely or at
least to the end of the page. Some people might choose not to have (or
be) a web standard browser ( eg Lynx, Google).
I think there was a conversation about this issue recently on this
list, and you can read more here
