i have following problem with my embedded linux-system. At first some specs:
kernel 2.4.18
xfree 4.1.0
touchscreen connected to ttyS0
mouse and keyboard connected to PS/2
As the system has a touchscreen, normally it would be driven only by

I try to start up Red Hat linux 9 and the screen
flashes twice and then tells me theres a problem with X server. I am using a
Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra. Is there a way to choose which video thingy is
loaded up to a different driver instead of VESA compatible which i dont think

basically, if you don't know the refresh rates the best is not to give anything and to
